Grab your swag or pack the tent — there’s no better place to camp than among the sandy shores, mountain gullies and colourful deserts of Queensland’s national parks. Boil the billy, soak up a radiant sunset and unwind in wide open spaces. Many national parks offer camping — just find a site that suits you best!
National park camping is affordable fun for everyone. Remember you need a camping permit to camp in a national park and camp sites must be booked and paid in advance (camp sites in popular parks are in great demand during peak periods such as long weekends and school holidays). Camping permits can be booked online, over-the-counter or at self-service booking facilities.
